TUCSON – There are going to be some unique looking stones and crystals scattered across the Old Pueblo over the next couple of weeks.
However, few will be as expensive as the rare Belemnite gemstone.
The 135 million-year-old opal fossil is valued at over $1 million. The gem will be in Tucson until Feb. 10 and is on display at the JOGS Tucson Gem & Jewelry Show located at the Tucson Expo Center.
