The exhibitors were ready with their displays once again on Day 3 of the 65th edition of the Bangkok Gem and Jewelry show. With a gleam in their eyes, there was hope that the third day of the show would bring in more buyers. But it seems the coronavirus scare has put off more visit plans of buyers than expected. The show opened to a lull but by noon there seemed to be a fair bit of a crowd going around the various exhibitor booths. There was a better than expected crowd at the technology and tools section.

However, by the end of the day, there was eagerness in the eyes of the exhibitors to close down their exhibits and head home hoping that days four and five would bring in more visitors and buyers.

The show organizer DITP has made robust arrangements to deal with the Covid-19 coronavirus threat to keep both the exhibitors and visitors safe. The show features 900 companies in 2,200 booths from selected domestic and international exhibitors. Product groups include Gemstones (Precious Stones, Semi-Precious Stones, and Rough stones), Pearls, Diamonds, Gold Jewelry, Fine Jewelry, Silver Jewelry, Costume & Fashion Jewelry, Synthetic Stones, Display & Packaging, Jewelry Parts, Equipment & Tools Machinery.

KaratTalk.com will be coming out with an exclusive report on the 65th Bangkok Gem and Jewelry Show 2020 very soon. Stay tuned.
