The twin Hong Kong Jewellery Shows, organised by the Hong Kong Trade Development Council (HKTDC), have been rescheduled for a second time and will now take place from August 3-6 at Asia World Expo.

The announcement follows the original postponement of the shows, scheduled for March, until May and then another further postponement of the May show, both in light of the Coronavirus pandemic and the associated compulsory quarantine of foreigners arriving into Hong Kong, which is still ongoing.

While the March shows had been scheduled to take place across two sites, with the Hong Kong Diamond Gem and Pearl Show taking place at Asia World Expo and the Hong Kong International Jewellery Show at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre, the May and subsequent August show, will see both shows combined into one twin show at Asia World Expo.
A statement from the HKTDC on the rescheduling said: “We hope that the online promotion together with the physical exhibitions in August can complement each other and maximise synergy.

“The HKTDC will monitor the situation closely and provide details of the rescheduling arrangement to exhibitors and buyers in due course.”
