[Sticky] How can you tell if Kunzite is real?
Pleochroism is very strong so in rough kunzite crystals, they may appear pale on the A/B access and show strong color down the C axis. Kunzite has two perfect cleavage directions and it is significantly harder in one direction than the other. These features can sometimes make it a tricky gem to cut. But how do you really identify real kunzite from a synthetic one?
